Plus/Minus Grading Scale A+ 96.7 - 100.0% A 93.4 - 96.6% A- 90.0 - 93.3% B+ 86.7 - 89.9% B 83.4 - 86.6% B- 80.0 - 83.3% C+ 76.7 - 79.9% C 73.4 - 76.6% C- 70.0 - 73.3% D+ 66.7 - 69.9% D 63.4 - 66.6% D- 60.0 - 63.3% F < 60% TYPES OF QUESTIONS ON QUIZZES & EXAMS: Discussion, short answer questions, & multiple choice. RISKS: Please be aware that there are risks associated with working with animals such as injuries related to improper handling of birds and zoonotic diseases. ATTENDANCE: Attendance is highly recommended to ensure success in the course; therefore, each student is expected to attend all classes and laboratories. COUNSELING: Open Door Policy – Appointments help to conserve time. Students having difficulties in understanding concepts and principles are encouraged to visit with the instructor for one on one consultation at any time during the semester. Furthermore, students are also encouraged to seek further clarification on principles and concepts immediately before, during, and following class if students’ schedules permit. OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, except when in class or working on a research project at the farm.
