Levels: Graduate, Professional, Undergraduate West Lafayette Campus Lecture Schedule Type Learning Outcomes: Students will learn of the algorithms and software underlying some of the fundamental problems in bioinformatics, including alignment of gene and protein sequences, searching for matching sequences in databases, phylogenetic tree construction, module discovery in protein interaction networks, etc. Required Materials: One of three books mentioned in the course syllabus.
