STAT 31100 - Introductory Probability
Credit Hours: 3.00. An introduction to basic probability with some theoretical background as well as applications to the physical sciences and engineering. Formulation of probability problems, general probability rules, conditional probability and Bayes Theorem, and discrete and continuous random variables and their properties. Prerequisite: two semesters of college calculus.
