The major topics include design and construction process, preliminary treatment of wastewater, primary treatment, wastewater microbiology, secondary treatment, nitrogen removal, phosphorus removal, attached microbial growth, secondary settling, disinfection and post-aeration, tertiary treatment, and wastewater plant residuals management.
