Credit Hours: 3.00. This course provides an overview of the general circulation of the atmosphere and oceans. Topics include: global energy balance, hydrological cycle, atmospheric general circulation and climate, ocean general circulation and climate, history and evolution of Earth's climate, climate sensitivity and feedback mechanisms, global climate models, natural climate change and anthropogenic climate change.
