Introduction to parametric, feature-based solid modeling; dimensioned 2D and 3D engineering drawings; tolerancing; mechanical dynamic simulation; kinematic models, analysis and simulation of simple linkages and complex systems; mechanism design and evaluation; visualization and animation of results; interfacing of computer aided engineering software. Projects involving industrial parts and assemblies will be discussed and assigned. Typically offered Spring.
