The driving outcome for this course is for students to understand and apply high performance computing concepts, architectures, and software components to develop and operate a high performance computing environment. Topics include: high performance computer architectures, network architectures for High Performance Computing (HPC), commodity and open-source cluster architectures, and software systems.
