This interdisciplinary course introduces and explores concepts related to human factors in environmental design and planning. It draws knowledge from environmental psychology, urban geography, sociology, cultural studies and others. Some key theories covered in this course include personal space, place attachment, age and environmental needs, gender and environmental needs, and conservation behaviors.
