BIOL 58601 - Ecology |
Credit Hours: 3.00. This is an advanced ecology course that examines the ecological process and dynamics of populations, communities, and ecosystems. Topics include the physical, physiological, behavioral, and population genetic factors that influence how organisms interact with one another and their environment, the nature of population growth, and attributes of community structure. Course material integrates case studies from field and laboratory experiments, simulations, and theoretical models to understand life histories, species interactions, and community and ecosystem processes.
