Learning Outcomes: 1.  Understand additional details as well as the main ideas in short conversations which deal with topics covered in the course. 2.  Take part in simple conversations on everyday topics presented in the textbook and other class materials. 3.  Read and understand simple texts in Russian related to everyday activities. 4.  Write a few paragraphs using simple but coherent sentences about situations and events discussed in class and in the textbook. 5.  Continue learning to recognize, appreciate, and compare similarities and differences between their own culture and Russian culture.
