Learning Outcomes: 1. Define and apply the major theories related to personnel selection and performance appraisal. 2. Describe recent research findings and apply those findings to issues related to personnel selection and performance appraisal. 3. Design and develop personnel selection and performance appraisal systems that are fair, valid, and legally appropriate. 4. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate personnel selection and performance appraisal systems with respect to their fairness, validity, and legality. 5. Perform a job analysis.
