Learning Outcomes: 1. Explain and demonstrate multitrack recording, mixing, analog and digital effects processing, sampling, use of specialized filters and audio tools such as vocoders and other electronic instruments to shape and edit sound. 2. Explain and demonstrate advanced musical sequencing and digital audio editing. 3. Explain and demonstrate issues and techniques used when combining digital sound with acoustic instruments and voices. 4. Create professional mixes that use reverb, compression, and special effects, etc. 5. Explain and demonstrate techniques used in combining sound and music to video and film productions.
