Learning Outcomes: 1. Reinforce knowledge of the basic grammar, vocabulary, and syntax needed for reading and translating Latin. 2. Read and translate simple Latin literature independently and read and translate more complex literature with suitable help from commentaries and instructor. 3. Improve understanding of English through increased sensitivity to grammatical structures and stylistic choices and by extending their vocabulary through etymological connections.
