Learn laboratory techniques, to design and conduct experiments, and to analyze and interpret data. 2. Design appropriate bioreactor models based upon bioproducts and other process criteria. 3. Conduct fermentation experiments with process optimization and scale-up. 4. Model the growth of microorganisms in batch, fed-batch, and continuous flow processes. 5.
