STAT 50001 - Statistical Computing |
Credit Hours: 3.00. The purpose of this course is to teach fundamental computing skills required by practicing statisticians. Students will use statistical software for analysis and model building of real-world data. Topics include descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, model building, designing and performing simulation experiments, and writing effective code to perform common statistical tasks.
