Chain and thermal ignition. Homogeneous combustion models. Detonations and deflagrations. Laminar flame speed and flame extinction. The Shvab-Zeldovich formulation of the multicomponent conservation equations. Diffusion flames and droplet combustion. Introduction to turbulent combustion.
