Credit Hours: 3.00. Development and discussion of mathematical and simulation models for scheduling and sequencing the flow of jobs or activities in manufacturing environments. Techniques include dynamic programming, branch and bound, linear and integer programming, heuristics and stochastic network simulation. Prerequisite: IE 57900; IE 53500 or 53700.
