Contextualize and compare important events and moments in the history of European imperialism and decolonization. 2. Analyze and evaluate how historians interpret the past, and examine how this past continues to shape the present. 3. Analyze an array of historical sources and types of evidence, historical narratives, first-person accounts and commentaries, scholarly interpretations, visual imagery and fictional portrayals, as well as the setting in which these sources were produced. 4. Craft original arguments supported by historical and textual evidence in class discussions and weekly writing assignments. |
