Identify individuals who have made a major contribution to a style or period. 2. Compare artworks by identifying their differences and similarities. 3. Define terms and concepts in relation to a particular style, artist, or artwork. 4. Discuss historical events, social forces, and cultural trends that have had an influence on a particular style, artist, or artwork. 5. Build knowledge and understanding of Chinese art. 6. Develop analytical and writing skills through textural studies of primary and secondary sources, as well as writing exercises.
