Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will be introduced to contemporary sculptors and their work with the aims of providing a historical background for the study and appreciation of sculpture as a medium and providing resources that students can relate to their own creative processes as artists. 2. Students will proceed through an individually developed series of problems and solutions. Where appropriate, additional historical and contemporary references related to the individual students' specific creative investigations will be provided. 3. Technical demonstration will also be provided as needed by individual students.
