Credit Hours: 3.00. The theoretical and mechanistic bases for structure and reactivity in organic chemistry is discussed. Individual topics include kinetics and thermodynamics, molecular orbital theory, stereochemistry and reactive intermediates as applied to the mechanisms of organic reactions. Prerequisite: CHM 56300 or 65100.
