Learning Outcomes: 1. Identify ethical issues associated with applications of data science in a variety of professional settings, by reading assigned texts, viewing/listening to assigned media content, and participating in classroom and group discussions. 2. Apply general ethical principles to the specific, concrete actions of individuals, corporations, governments and other organizations. 3. Construct sound, well-reasoned arguments, and communicate them clearly, by participating in classroom and group discussions as well as writing assignments. 4. Develop a case study of their own, by submitting a written essay that applies the case study procedure.
