Differentiate the syntactic structures used in Ancient Greek sentences and longer texts based on the study of model sentences. 2. Compose sentences in Ancient Greek by focusing on a set of grammatical rules and standards in the language. 3. Recite Ancient Greek aloud with accuracy and fluency and demonstrate their ability in in-class text readings and recordings. 4. Infer the meaning of unknown vocabulary in context by reading stories. 5. Identify and analyze grammatical forms in the Greek contexts in which they are used. 6. Generate smooth-flowing and elegant English translations of the Greek, attending to inherent differences in style and structure. |
