Learning Outcomes: 1. Explain the rationale for international trade in a variety of economic models. 2. Assess the models in terms of their assumptions and implications. 3. Discuss supplementary research that qualifies and extends the basic models. 4. Discuss the implications of international trade policies, institutions and agreements for international trade, especially trade in food and agricultural products.
