Solve linear, quadratic, and other types of algebraic equations. Ability to solve linear, polynomial, and absolute value inequalities. 2. Create graphs of polynomial, algebraic, and absolute value functions and use them to solve word problems. 3. Perform basic operations on functions. 4. Use and work effectively with exponential and logarithmic functions and their inverses, including solving word problems. 5. Sketch the graph of a polynomial function of degree greater than two. Ability to use and understand the intermediate Value Theorem. 6. Use the division algorithm and synthetic division to work with polynomials and their roots. |
