Develop and demonstrate an advanced level of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through the study of content-based materials. 2. Acquire a broad panoramic view of the different cultures and traditions in the Hispanic world, including Hispanics in the U.S. (The specific area of studies will be Central America and Caribbean South America.) 3. Identify and compare cultural traits through the study of history, art, food, pop culture, literature, music, current events and other aspects. 4. Demonstrate the ability to interpret and critique the culture through different types of written and oral materials, and reflect on how these topics relate to their own values and experiences.
