Learning Outcomes: 1. Discuss the impact of illness on children, adolescents, and families. 2. Examine and analyze the leading causes of child and adolescent health. 3. Examine and compare health disparities among national and international children. 4. Determine the complexities and implications of health care policy and barriers to access to care on children, adolescents and families. 5. Determine the importance of implementing family centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration while providing care for children and adolescents. 6.
