Learning Outcomes: 1. Write and revise poems by using effective imagery, line breaks, stanzas, compression, and linguistic playfulness; 2. Produce a portfolio of poems by revising according to suggestions received in workshop and in individual conferences with the instructor. 3. Be cognizant of the range of the genre by reading and discussing key works of modern and contemporary poetry.
