Learning Outcomes: 1. Define and explain the mechanisms of evolution and genetic inheritance. 2. Identify the characteristics of non-human primates and describe their behavior, ecology, and evolutionary relationships to humans. 3. Describe primate and human evolution as seen in the fossil record. 4. Explain how evolutionary processes have led to contemporary human variation and behavior.
