Topics include mathematical background from residue theory through integral transforms; sampled data systems, including A/D, D/A, and hold properties, aliasing, and Z transforms. Digital control design via continuous, discrete, and state space design techniques. Implementation considerations, including nonlinear effects. Mechanical engineering examples.
