Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will be able to understand universal physical laws as they apply to chemistry. 2. Students will be able to use theory to understand/predict experimental observations. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the physical properties and a molecular understanding of chemical reactivity and materials. 4. Students will be able to develop problem-solving skills: identifying the objective. 5. Students will be able to carry out calculations related to specific chemistry topics. 6. Students will be able to understand universal physical laws as they apply to chemistry. 7. Students will be able to understand structure/activity and structure/property relationships. 8. Students will be able to understand the physical principles upon which chemical instrumentation is based. 9. Students will be able to reduce complex problems into simpler components.
