This course examines the changing roles that women and men play in paid and unpaid work, and how these roles are socially constructed, through socialization practices, social interaction, and actions of social institutions. The interaction of gender, race, ethnicity, and social class on individuals' involvement in work will also be explored. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
