Credit Hours: 3.00. Principles of Internetwork architecture and communication protocols underlying interoperable systems. Topics include universal interconnection, Internet addressing and routing, address binding, control of Internet congestion and flow, examples of Internet protocol suites (TCP/IP and XNS), round trip time estimation, naming and name resolution, Internet applications programs, and the ISO/OSI model.
