EAPS 63400 - Numerical Modeling Of Atmospheric Systems
Credit Hours: 3.00. Introduction to numerical schemes for differential and integral equations. Von Neuman's analysis of linear stability. Nonlinear stability. Numerical methods for solving geofluid dynamics equations. Simulation of microscale, mesoscale and large-scale weather systems. Prior course work in synoptic labs and vector calculus is required.
