Initial value problems; forced vibrations; structural damping. The dynamic Green's function, impedance concepts; variational approaches. Experimental procedures, scaling, composite, and stiffened shells. Prerequisite: knowledge of one degree of freedom system vibrations. Typically offered Spring.
