STAT 31100 - Introductory Probability

Formulation of probability problems, discrete and continuous random variables, expectation, standard distributions, applications to statistical problems, and problems in the physical sciences. Credit cannot be given for more than one of STAT 22500, 31100, or 41600. Prerequisite: two semesters of college calculus. Typically offered Spring.
