Credit Hours: 3.00. The chemistry, mode of action, and metabolism of insecticides and related compounds in both insect and vertebrate systems. Evaluation of toxic action, principles of selective toxicity, insecticide resistance, and environmental effects are also discussed. A minimal knowledge of entomology is required.
