MA 10000 - An Introduction To Mathematical Sciences

This course is intended to: integrate freshman mathematics majors into the department; help them adjust to university life; assist them in developing their academic and intellectual capabilities; introduce them to contemporary issues in mathematics; provide an overview of the careers open to those with degrees in mathematics. This course must be taken as pass/no pass only. Credit by examination is not available for this course. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring.
