Learning Outcomes: 1. Student will have a better understanding of the concepts and theories of how second (and more) languages are acquired and processed through an examination of current research into second language acquisition. They will critically examine this research to develop a greater understanding of the issues and challenges faced by students as they learn English as a New Language, and how teachers can develop practice which address these needs.
