This course is primarily for students majoring in mathematics, but is appropriate for students majoring in engineering and the physical sciences who want a stronger background in vector calculus than is available in MA 26100. Geometry of Euclidean space; partial derivatives, gradient; vector fields, divergence, curl; extrema, Lagrange multipliers; multiple integrals, Jacobian; line and surface integrals; theorems of Green, Gauss, and Stokes.
