Learning Outcomes: 1. Understand the different physiological systems and their specific functions, including the detailed anatomy of each organ/organ system and their function on the cellular level. 2. Develop a thorough understanding of the principle of homeostasis, interactions between physiological systems, and regulation of mammalian/avian physiology. 3. Explain how physiological processes integrate across the whole animal. 4. Understand the similarities and differences in the anatomy and physiology among animal species, including humans, food animals, and companion animals. 5.
