Learning Outcomes: 1. Understand the complexity of our global food system and learn how urban agriculture can address social, economic and ecological issues in cities around the world. 2. Develop critical thinking and communication skills through in-class discussions and writing assignments that integrate agroecology, urban planning, and civic engagement as they relate to urban agriculture. 3.
