Learning Outcomes: 1. Use keys and other published resources to identify unknown insects to the correct family and by-sight identification. 2. Collect a diversity of insects and related arthropods and to prepare specimens to professional standards. 3. State the scientific names, critical taxonomic characters, natural history and biology, unique or interesting behaviors, ecological role, taxonomic relationships and impacts on human activities of selected families.
