Learning Outcomes: 1. Demonstrate familiarity with one or more conceptions of God and with arguments for and against the coherence of such conceptions. 2. Demonstrate a familiarity with some of the arguments for and against God's existence and with some of the objections to those arguments. 3. Recognize the importance of and demonstrate familiarity with multiple religious ideas and beliefs. 4. Develop the ability to present, explain, defend and critically evaluate complex philosophical ideas, theories, and perspectives, in oral and written communication. 5. Develop the ability to locate, interpret, understand and evaluate philosophical arguments encountered in complex philosophical texts within the contexts and traditions that inform those arguments and texts.
