Learning Outcomes: 1. Describe basic processes regulating plant-microbial interactions in the rhizosphere and phyllosphere, and the implications of these interactions on plant and environmental health. 2. Critically evaluate and discuss primary literature in the field. 3. Compare and contrast methods used to study processes mediating plant-microbial relationships. 4.
