CHM 37600 - Physical Chemistry Laboratory
Associated Term: Fall 2022
Learning Outcomes: 1. Able to use theory to understand universal physical laws as they apply to chemistry. 2. Able to use theory to understand/predict experimental observations. 3. Able to demonstrate an understanding of the physical properties and a molecular understanding of chemical reactivity and materials. 4. Able to develop problem-solving skills: identifying the objective. 5. Able to carry out calculations related to specific chemistry topics. 6. Able to understand energetic and kinetics of chemical transformations. 7. Able to reduce complex problems into simpler components. 8. Able to work in teams and collaborate. 9. Able to work with minimal supervision. 10. Able to comprehend scientific papers. 11. Able to organize data for meaningful interpretation, including causes of experimental error, limitations of data. 12. Able to practice professional behavior: reliability, punctuality, efficiency.
