Learning Outcomes: 1. Learn the basics of metal-ligand bonding. 2. Gain an understanding of the interplay between metals and biological molecules. 3. Learn how metals and biomolecules work together to bring about chemistry that either component can achieve alone. 4. Be introduced to the places that metals exist in natural systems. 5. Learn the role of metals in biology. 6. Solve problems involving the role of inorganic chemistry in biological systems using knowledge of the relevant chemistry.
