Learning Outcomes: 1. Know data and analysis requirements when planning experiments and observational studies. 2. Apply several univariate and multivariate statistical analyses. 3. Model or simulate simple biological or ecological systems. 4. Use several different graphing techniques including mapping, three-dimensional plots, and animations. 5. Write code to accomplish 1-4 within open-source software. 6. Develop critical thinking skills. 7. Foster creativity by finding alternative solutions to analytical challenges. 8.
