Learning Outcomes: 1. Understand how the human body is constructed (anatomy) and how it functions (physiology). 2. Understand the inseparable relationship between structure and function and the interrelatedness of all body systems. 3. Know and appreciate the body's ability to self-regulate the intricate processes which maintain body functions, i.e. homeostasis. 4. Know the concept of pathology and disease processes as a disruption of homeostasis. 5.
