AD 46200 - Metalsmithing
Associated Term:
Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will learn to use traditional jewelry and metalsmithing hammers, stakes, forming tools, and processes such as forging, chasing and repousee, and raising. 2. They will learn to design and make specialized tooling for pressing, forming and altering the shape of sheet metal using a hydraulic press. 3. They will learn to incorporate the resulting forms by fabrication processes into jewelry, and other art metal projects.
